Laura McKnight
Laura McKnight joined the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research in January 2021 as Director of Development. In this role, she has the privilege of working with individuals and foundations who want to help change the world for people who stutter through their philanthropy and involvement. Prior to the Blank Center, Laura worked in development at the Moody College of Communication, working with alumni and friends who support initiatives across Moody College, including the incredible work of Dr. Courtney Byrd. Laura’s other experience in development, external relations, and constituent relations comes from her roles at The University of Texas System, the LBJ School of Public Affairs, and the Office of US Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. In addition, Laura is a proud graduate of the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin.
